Loving God - Loving others - Serving this Generation in the will of God

Our purpose statement here at the Grace Baptist Church entails three major themes. The first is our desire to produce people who truly have a heart for God.  We need to create with God's help an atmosphere that encourages people to love God. Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  First and foremost we need to be faithful in loving God.  Next, in a world that is filled with selfishness we need to love others.  Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. An others oriented church will always prosper.  If we truly love God and keep His commandments we then show our love to others by not coveting or stealing the things he has. In the last days the love of many will grow cold however; by loving God we then in return will be given His love so we can give it away.  Lastly, our purpose involves serving this generation by doing the will of God. Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep ..., All of our ministries are opportunities for our members to do the will of God wether it would soul winning, helping in our RU addictions program or working in nurseries.  The invitation is open for you to come home to Grace and glorify the King and increase His Kingdom together with us till He comes.
